Oasis star Noel Gallagher has joined the ranks of Anne Robinson and AA Gill in becoming the latest public figure to take a swipe at the Welsh.

In an interview to be broadcast tomorrow the outspoken singer- songwriter described Welsh people as a 'nightmare' and complained 'you can't understand a word they say'.

Ironically his band's manager is from Ebbw Vale, and Gallagher, left, recently appeared in a promotional video with Pembrokeshire-born actor Rhys Ifans.
