Dual-major student shines at UTC: Shelton earns degrees in 2 vastly different fields: English, electrical engineering.

May 7--Rebecca Shelton didn't want to choose between English and electrical engineering as her college major. When she walks across the stage today during the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's commencement, the Estill Springs, Tenn., resident will get a degree in both. "I settled on engineering because I like the application of math in the real world, but I kept English (as a major)," said Ms. Shelton, an honors g raduate.
