May 5--Motorists can expect significant fuel price drops Monday, after crude oil prices fell for the second consecutive day Thursday.

The price of crude oil -- the feedstock for gasoline -- dropped to $69.30 a barrel in midday futures trading before closing at $70 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

The drop came after the U.S. Energy Department's Energy Information Administration said crude oil supplies increased by 1.7 million barrels last week, a much more robust level than initially anticipated. Gasoline supplies also increased by ...
