It's not often that a ballerina gets a second chance to perform in Bronislava Nijinska's 1923 ballet "Les Noces" ("The Wedding"). And this time around, Boston Ballet principal dancer Tai Jimenez is no bridesmaid - she's the Bride.

The company is presenting the work as part of "An Evening of Russian Ballet" at the Wang Theatre, tonight through Sunday.

Jimenez first danced in "Les Noces" in the early 1990s, at the start of her 12-year stint with Dance Theater of Harlem. But although "Les Noces" is recognized as a 20th century masterpiece, few ...
