Apr. 26--MUMBAI, India -- The downward movement of silver continued for second day in a row on Tuesday as prices plunged by Rs 2,000, or 10 percent at Rs 18,500 per kg in the national capital. The metal came under sustained selling pressure after a sharp fall in global prices on Monday. Absence of demand from jewellery fabricators during such volatile movements, also pulled down prices. The other precious metal -- gold -- also registered a hefty loss in line with silver. The yellow metal recorded a fall between Rs 170 and Rs 50 per 10 gm.
