Apr. 25--DENVER -- The Colorado Senate gave its unanimous endorsement to a measure that will study the possibility of underground water storage.

The bill, which passed 30-0, now moves to the House.

"Colorado has spent millions studying our water problem," said Sen. Tom Wiens, R-Castle Rock. "We have identified sites in our state that can be used for underground water storage, but we have not yet taken underground storage as serious as surface storage.
