The first, and most important, step in writing an article is selecting a topic. The topic you choose should fit you as smoothly as a surgical glove. For some, this will be easy. Perhaps you have conducted a research study that you want to share with other nurses, or you recently cared for a patient with an unusual condition in your OR.
