The cities of Baden, Oberndorf and Igls are representative of Austria, where the rural and the urban delightfully integrate. Toward edge of the Kurparkk in Baden lies the Vienna Woods, which inspired Ludwig Van Beethoven's 'Pastoral Symphony' and Johann Strauss' 'Tales From the Vienna Woods.' Wolfgang Mozart's 'Ave Verum' was initially performed in a parish church of Baden. The Christmas carol 'Silent Night' was composed in 1818 in a parish church of one of the two towns of Oberndorf.
