Apr. 21--An in-house physician-executive with an appreciation of Sacred Heart Hospital's religious roots will become the hospital's fourth lay president, starting July 1. Dr. Frank Sparandero, 56, of Branchburg, N.J., was introduced at a Thursday morning news conference as the trustees' pick for president and chief executive of the Allentown-based Sacred Heart Hospital and HealthCare System.
