Mar. 22--INDIAN LAND -- Hwy. 521 saw a big increase in traffic this past weekend as Sun City Carolina Lakes opened its doors to more than 5,000 visitors on its opening weekend.

Cars lined Sun City's main street on Saturday, and tour buses stood ready at the sales center to take the visitors all over Sun City's 1,545 acres.
