Campaigner John Bull has been invited by the new boss of the Longbridge car factory to return to the plant in 12 months' time to celebrate the first new car rolling off the production line.

Bull, aka Ray Egan, met Wang Yaoping from Nanjing, the firm which is aiming to restart car production at the plant, when he made an appearance at a rally at the weekend to mark the centenary of Austin.
