Now, in Holy Week, there opens a dusty Peter Shaffer effort which takes repeated jabs at the Christianity of conquistadors in 16th century Peru. This jars.
The Royal Hunt of the Sun is a long night. It depicts, at one point, the epic crossing of the Andes by the explorer Francisco Pizarro and his small army which did in the Incas.
