A University of Wisconsin-Madison appeals panel this morning overruled a university attorney's efforts to limit the scope of inquiry in the Paul Barrows matter.
The decision appeared to be a good one for Barrows, who seeks to use the hearing of the Academic Staff Appeals Committee to discuss the entire range of discipline against him. University attorney Nancy Lynch wants to limit the scope of the inquiry to matters that occurred after Barrows was placed in his $72,881 backup position in June.
