Apr. 10--The Kanawha City sports bar and restaurant Murad's is downsizing.
This Saturday, floor space will drop from more than 5,000 square feet to less than 2,000 as the business, located on 35th Street, closes seating sections and shrinks its restaurant services, said co-owner Ronnie Murad. The changes are motivated in part by a drop in business but will also allow Murad's to sidestep the smoking ban for restaurants.
