A MAN who saved a little boy's life with first-aid techniques he learned more than 30 years ago was yesterday praised by the youngster's mother. Site foreman Alan Strickland, 47, learned first aid when he was 15 but remembered his training and dashed to help Joseph Kerrigan, two, who was suffering a fit when his mother Cheryl dashed into the street cradling him and screaming for help.
