During a recent program as artist-in-residence at our local museum, third through sixth grade students studied, drew, and painted our national parks. The hope was to connect with students and teachers through art, sharing a sense of wonder and concern for our fragile natural world, opening students' eyes, and helping them express their artistic selves.
