Mar. 31--Eric Wicks' days of anonymity in WVU's defense ended this past season, when the "spur" safety starter finished fifth on the team in tackles and earned second-team all-Big East Conference honors.

Wicks, who returned one interception for a touchdown in each of his first two seasons, established himself as a player opposing offenses must contend with.
