Beckmen Retires & Houlihan Named President No Changes In Policies Anticipated

On June 2 Roland Japan, one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic musical products, assumed total ownership of RolandCorp U.S., acquiring the 50% stake of Tom Beckmen, who had presided over the operation since its founding in 1975. As this issue went to press, Dennis Houlihan, formerly general manager of the Technics Keyboard division, was appointed president of RolandCorp. US, effective the end of June. (A complete interview with Houlihan will appear in next month's issue.)
