This article is the first in a series of three on the topic of protest management. Part 1 focuses on recommendations to prevent a protest from occurring. When a protest is filed, it impacts many people--the buyer, the awardee, the customer, the buyer's boss, the agency's counsel, the governing body, and the list goes on.
