We would like to correct the misstatement about on-Balance's position on plaster etching, as reported in the article "Arch Study Tackles Plaster Problem" (Nov. 28 issue, pp. 11, 22).

The article states that we have "steadfastly claimed plaster application methods are the cause of etching...." That has never been our claim, nor is it correct.
