A Hawaii exporter finds a distant market for the underappreciated moonfish.

Michael Kohn was acutely aware he was making a fool of himself. Amid the 120 miles of stalls at the Anuga, a gargantuan fresh foods show staged every two years in Germany, the Hawaii-based exporter was conspicuous for his struggles with an ungainly fish.
