Put aside the notion that a refrigerator door shelf filled with open jam jars calls for more toast and biscuits. Think of all the savory glazes, sauces, side dishes, simple desserts and even beverages to be made from those fruit flavors waiting in the fridge.

Nary a spoonful of jam or jelly need be wasted.
