Ash Grove To Increase Portland Cement Production.

Foreman, Ark.-- The Ash Grove Cement Company announced that it will invest approximately $190 million in Arkansas to expand its current portland cement manufacturing plant in Foreman.

The expansion project will result in a nearly complete rebuilding of the existing plant facilities. The plant will produce 1.7 million tons of portland cement per year, an increase in capacity of approximately 700,000 tons of cement per year.

The current plant was built in 1958 and purchased by Ash Grove in 1985. It employs 160 people. Portland cement manufactured at the plant is ...
