Byline: Bob Purvis
Mar. 23--A man wanted in the 2001 duct-tape killings of two people on Milwaukee's south side was arrested Wednesday in the Dominican Republic, the U.S. Marshals Service said.
Roberto Irizarri-Lopez, 40, is accused of helping to wrap Juan Alex DeLossantos, 30, and his girlfriend Carmen Hernandez, 24, in layer upon layer of duct tape from their eyebrows to their chins -- after stuffing paper down their throats and binding their hands and legs -- and leaving them to die of asphyxiation in DeLossantos' apartment in July 2001.
