Spring break is great. Students get to shut their books for a week just as the winter weather thaws out. Then again, long summer vacations are great too. Some schools are canceling spring break so they can start summer vacation a week earlier. Is that a good idea?
Most schools in the country have to be open for 180 days. And recently many schools have decided to start school after Labor Day in September. That pushes the last day of school into the middle of June. And that doesn't make students happy. Teachers aren't very happy about classes in June either. They say ...
