LEXINGTON-- Beatrice Rainey Walker died on Friday, March 17, 2006.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Union Ridge Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Alamance County, daughter of the late Robert Williamson (Bob) Rainey, Sr. and the late Annie King Rainey and was married to the late Melvin Elmo Walker Sr.

She worked for 15 years for the Baptist Children's Home of N.C. at Mills Home and Kennedy Home Campuses. She retired in 1992 as office administrator at Camp Dogwood for the Blind at Sherrils Ford, N.C. ...
