Mar. 21--SeaGate Centre officials said this week's Zenobia Shrine Circus shows will go on as scheduled, despite public safety and animal treatment concerns raised by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Lisa Wathne, who identified herself as a captive exotic animal specialist for PETA, asked James Donnelly, president and chief executive of the Greater Toledo Convention and Visitors Bureau and SeaGate Centre, by letter not to host the Zenobia Shrine circus or any other circus with animal acts.
