Mar. 18--If you've noticed worms in apples from your backyard tree, you may be dealing with one of the most serious pests of fruit and ornamental flowering trees we've ever seen.
A gardener with a hobby orchard noticed the critters on some apples he was giving away and asked me what he could do about it.
