Today's "What They're Listening To" surveys recordings of medieval and early Renaissance music of Spain.

It is the first of three installments of CD recommendations of early Spanish music by John Barker, a retired University of Wisconsin-Madison professor of medieval history. Barker is also a nationally recognized record and music critic who sits on the Madison Early Music Festival advisory board.
