On the face of it, "CSA: The Confederate States of America" should have the lifespan of a classic "Saturday Night Live" sketch. The premise is as brilliant as it is simple. It's a parody of a Ken Burns-style public television documentary, full of grainy archival photos, talking-heads interviews and character actor voice-overs.
