Jasmin Lawrence hit a game-winning layup with 1.9 seconds remaining as part of her career-high 16 points to lift James Madison over Delaware and into the CAA championship game with a 61-59 victory Friday evening in Fairfax.

It will be the first championship game appearance for the second-seeded Dukes since 2001 .

James Madison (24-5) received double-doubles from Tamera Young (12 points, 12 rebounds) and Kisha Stokes (career-high 10 points, 11 rebounds). Meredith Alexis contributed 11 points.
