Trade relations between the US and Mexico was analyzed. More specifically, the economic impact of the North American Free Trade Agreement in both countries' development was discussed. Improved relations between the two countries can be largely attributed to Mexico's economic transformation and the prospect of increased economic integration in North America. Free trade has enabled the US to provide high-technology products while Mexico has concentrated on supplying labor intensive services.
