Another officer of the Philippine Army Scout Rangers was relieved from his post and placed under arrest for his alleged involvement in efforts to overthrow the Arroyo government.

Col. Tristan Kison, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) public information office chief, said that Maj. Laureano Aquino was relieved as chief of operations of the Army First Scout Ranger Regiment based in Bulacan last week.
