A BIZARRE tug-of-war has broken out over the ownership of two rare owls snatched from a North Wales bird sanctuary.

Two rival factions from the owl world are at loggerheads over the birds stolen by a mystery thief during a night-time raid on a Penmaenmawr aviary.
