James Fraser Taresh, native Californian and long time Rio Oso resident, passed away December 5, 2005. A graduate of the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Jim's interest in farming and animals led him to raising Registered Duroc Swine. During that period, he was also a part-time employee of the State Farm Insurance Co., but later became a full time agent for 30 years.
