CHICAGO -- The New York Historical Society and Chicago-based Oppenheimer Editions, LLC, are announcing an exclusive licensing agreement to recreate a portion of the Historical Society's collection of original watercolors by the famed artist and naturalist, John James Audubon. The collection was purchased by the Historical Society from Audubon's widow, Lucy Bakewell Audubon.
Fifty works out of the 435 in the collection have been selected and will be published by Oppenheim...
