Fayard Nicholas, who with his younger brother Harold, wowed the world of dance with astonishing athleticism, inspiring generations of dancers from Fred Astaire to Savion Glover, recently died at his Los Angeles home. He was 91.
The cause of death was pneumonia and other complications of a stroke he suffered in November, his son, Tony Nicholas, said.
"My dad put Heaven on hold and now they can begin the show," Tony Nicholas said.
