MaliVai Washington, the 16th ranked tennis player in the world, was selected to the United States Davis Cup team to play singles making him the first Black male since Arthur Ashe to represent the U.S. team.
The U.S. will play the Bahamas at the Olde Providence Racquet Club in Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 24-26.
