Feb. 14--SAN LUIS, Ariz. -- Tony Reyes Jr., Archibaldo Gurrola and Rafael Torres, all younger than 35, call themselves "fresh blood" who can bring young, new voices to politics in this city.
Running on a slate with mayoral candidate Juan Escamilla, they are being advised by Yuma County Supervisor Tony Reyes, who served as mayor of San Luis in the 1980s and '90s and is a political opponent of current Mayor Nieves Riedel.
Other council candidates running in the March 14 primary are Carlos Bernal, Arturo Garcia, Jose Ponce, Carlos Robles, Gerardo ...
