An investigation has been launched in Indonesia over a Boeing 737-300's loss of navigation and communications systems.

The aircraft, which was carrying more than 145 people, reportedly lost all communications and navigation systems for four hours. The loss of the systems forced the aircraft to make an emergency landing, according to transport minister Hatta Radjasa.
