In a rented basement room in Golden Valley, a little church called Spirit in Action has made its home. Its first home was in a home.

In Minneapolis' Cedar-Riverside neighborhood, members of a Christian network called Missio Dei share a house.

Beyond living-room origins, these two churches have little in common. They're two of an unknown number of Twin Cities-area house churches.
