Groundbreaking is scheduled at noon Feb. 15 for Northern Kentucky University's $37 million student union building.
The building will be constructed next to the current student union building, called University Center, on what is now parking lot A.
The 140,000-square-foot facility, designed by Omni Architects, will be as long as a football field.
