Tire Kingdom's Chuck Curcio never really left. But now that he owns his company again, he's thinking more stores and (ugh) more TV ads.

When Chuck Curcio started pitching his tire business in TV ads, the self-proclaimed tire king recalls he could afford little more than $10 or $15 spots "during Cannon and Baretta reruns at 4 a.m." But as Tire Kingdom has expanded over the past 20 years, so has Curcio's ad budget (about $8 million this year), and therefore, his exposure.

So if you're tired of seeing the tire king on TV all over Florida, too bad. It's going to get worse. Back in ...
