When Pierre Elliott started motorcycle accessories maker Diamond Power-sports Inc., it was a natural business move. He made a living as a motorcycle street racer, building his bikes from the ground up and crafting bikes for other racing teams. Though he left racing in 1989, a failed partnership drove him back to his first love in 1992.

"I've been in the motorcycle business all my life," Elliott says. "So I said [to my wife], 'Lets take everything, put it aside and go back to what we know best.' And we knew motorcycles."
