BOULDER -- It's attracted evangelists and free-thinkers, runners and hikers, philosophers and gonzo journalists.
And now the Colorado Chautauqua in Boulder is on the verge of National Historic Landmark designation.
The National Park System Advisory Board recently voted unanimously to recommend to Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton that the park in the foothills of southwest Boulder receive the honorary designation.
Approval seems assured.
