CHICAGO _ The wife of New York Knicks forward Antonio Davis said Friday it was a couple of Bulls fans, not her, who escalated a verbal confrontation into a physical altercation that was so alarming it caused her husband to charge from the court into the stands to protect her.
Kendra Davis, who grew up in Aurora, said she left her seat to ask a man to stop using profanity near her children and didn't lose her temper until another Bulls fan called her a profane and vulgar name.
