Integrating protocols to create a single industry solution, the Gaming Standards Association has announced the new name of the combined Best of Breed (BOB) Version 1.1 and IGT's SuperSAS(TM) protocols. The new protocol will be known as the Game-to-System, or G2S, protocol. The name was chosen to give an accurate description of the protocol, bringing clarity to the industry as to what the protocol encompasses.
