* In response to pressure from larger wholesalers frustrated by price-cutting by regionals to gain rebates, several suppliers confirm that high-end rebates are being tied to national goals and that individual goals are being de-emphasized.

According to a source familiar with the program, LIVE Home Video has configured a program around August releases Bad Lieutenant and Almost Blue based on goals of 60,000 and 20,000 units, respectively.
