Robert Dowling is ankling as the Hollywood Reporter's editor-in-chief and publisher.

Dowling said in an announcement that following his departure at year's end he is setting up a consulting firm "to navigate the converging worlds of entertainment and technology" and has inked a three-year pact for the firm's services with the Reporter.

A pair of execs will be assuming Dowling's duties. The Reporter's veep and general manager Tony Uphoff was named publisher while group editorial veep Matthew King will be the top exec in charge of editorial operations. Current editor Howard ...
