LONDON--Avon Rubber plc has announced a one-for-four fights issue to raise pound22.5 million for investement in new technology and manufacturing capacity in its core businesses.
Tony Mitchard, chief executive, described the firm's interim results for the half year to April '93 as "pretty satisfactory," adding that two business sectors--industrial products and tyreshad shown "very strong performance," while the other two--automotive prodcucts and inflatables--had weak results.
